Delivery Process and Guidelines
We want to make sure your delivery is made without any hassles for you or your contractor. Be sure to check out our delivery pricing and the following information about our deliveries:
- There is a 3 yard/ton minimum for dump deliveries – one ton of palletized stone for flatbed trucks.
- Bulk materials including soil, mulch, sand, gravel, bulk river rock and bulk fieldstone can be delivered in our dump trucks. Full loads (over 15 tons/yards) qualify for a discounted delivery fee.
- Most other material including palletized stone is delivered on a flatbed delivery truck. This truck can carry up to 8 pallets max and includes a forklift to place material close to the jobsite.
- Anything up to 14-16 pallets (depending on weight) can be delivered on one of our tractor trailer trucks – forklift optional.
- Bulk sand and gravel can be packaged in one of our customized bulk material bags which holds one ton of product (equal to one pallet), so it can be delivered on the same truck with your palletized stone without an additional delivery fee. Bag charges apply. One ton bags are not reusable at Stone Forest for safety.
- We will attempt to get the material as close to the jobsite as possible; however, off-driveway deliveries are at the discretion of the delivery driver and a waiver will be required.
- If you are planning for your delivery to be placed on the street, please check local ordinances and with your neighborhood association.
- Delivery times are estimated and subject to change. We’re dedicated to doing our best to get your material delivered in a timely and professional manner.
- If you can’t be present for a delivery, please leave detailed instructions with the sales representative and place a visual marker at the desired drop location.
- For mulch deliveries, it’s always a good idea to have our driver dump your mulch on a tarp. Some of our color-enhanced mulches may temporarily stain driveways.
- Due to variations in natural stone, Stone Forest requires that orders for natural stone products be placed in person. This way when your stone is delivered it is exactly what you want, no surprises!
- We can deliver just about anything we sell, even rolls of pond liner. Ask a member of our staff if you have a special request.
